UNESCO and WMO have declared 2025 as the International Year of Glaciers’ Preservation, with 21st March marked as World Glaciers Day. On 19th Mar 2025 Jamyang started the Australia edition of the campaign by riding from Adelaide to Canberra, covering 1,670 km, visiting Bhutanese communities living in Australia, as well as universities along the way. He also trekked to the summit of Mt. Kosciuszko, Australia’s highest peak accompanied by his father.

From Canberra, Jamyang took the bus to Cairns. He concluded the campaign by exploring and filming the Great Barrier Reef, where the coral reefs are dying due to climate change.
